is going to be officially retard as of......now actually. CSU's (including Long Beach) have decided to increase tuition by 30% BUT decrease time in the classroom by state-mandated furloughs by10% SO this means you pay more but get to learn less. Um What? WTF??????? I've spent at least 50% of the time in my 3 classes today talking about how there is NO money for ANYTHING including our syllubus so we have to print them ourselves and for not owning a printer and printing at school (even if i did the cost of ink+ paper would STILL SUCK) at 10 cents a pg?????? so on the first day of school ive already put about 5$ into the printer granted thats not much to alot of people but think about it an extra 10$ a wk. for 15 weeks? thats 150$ a semi for PAPERS and DOCUMENTS! and i believe book $ is a beaten n dead horse so ill move on. How are people who actually want to go to school and better themselves supposed to be able to when they cant afford it? how is California and the U.S in general supposed to fix and manage its ecconomy when no one is going educated enough to figure this shit out. I do NOT want to be around for CAs future. RECOMMENDED FILM: Idiocracy B/c its slowly going to happen/ is happening I think my school dramas enough for this post. ~sigh~ i need my heart meds and a nap. |
